Parking at TUM
If you visit Munich just for the duration of ISAR, and if you stay
in one of the recommended hotels, you don't really
need to rent a car. Using Munich's public transportation system
(MVV)
will be much more convenient for you since parking spaces are scarce. Munich
is a very safe city. You can walk freely in the vicinity of the university
and in the city center.
However, we are able to provide some reserved parking spaces for people
driving into town in the morning. For reservations, please contact Gudrun
Klinker.
Internet Access at TUM
You will be able to access the Internet
-
Via TUM computers in student labs (there will be an ISAR account).
-
With your own laptop/MAC using ethernet ports in the hallways and in the
student labs
-
Wirelessly with your own laptop/MAC using within the conference room and
the hallway in front of it. We will have about a dozen wireless WaveLAN
PC-Cards (IEEE 802.11, we use the Lucent cards) which you can borrow on
a FCFS-basis for limited time-slots in a sign-up sheetM
Stay tuned to this page to download and install the driver software ahead
of time on your computer. If you do own a IEEE 802.11-compatible card,
please bring it with you.
Presentation Equipment
Room 1128, in which all paper sessions will be held, is equipped with
